I’ve officially joined the ranks of the 97% of rails developers who develop on a mac. x=) It’s kind of an exciting time for me because this is my first mac and all. I got the low end macbook pro. Maybe in a year or 2, I’ll upgrade to a higher end model but for me, this works great! Anyone with tips or tricks or any advise for new comers to a mac, feel free to leave me a comment! Download Quicksilver (http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/) and then watch some of the screencasts about how to set it up and use it (Merlin Mann at 43folders.com has a few, and I’m sure you can find more searching lifehacker.com). Quicksilver will elevate your Mac experience to Super-Zen.
Thanks kyle! I’ll definitely check that out. I’ve heard a lot about quicksilver so it’s pretty nice to actually be able to see what all the fuss is about now x=)
Congrats! I’m hoping to sell my old one and get a new one in a week or two! Soooo excited!
